He's been banned as a general actually. So. I suppose this is still sort of relevant though...for something...

Edric isn't banned.
The currently the only banned generals are erayo, braids, rofellos, and kokusho,

Hmmm, I guess this article confused me.

I had thought they were talking about all of EDH. THis site seems to be dedicated solely to 1v1 EDH. And I'm not sure how official the banlist it contains is. I don't play 1v1, so it may only be banned then in the 1v1 french ban list.

I'm too never play 1v1 EDH and don't know about 1v1 rules. However if there's 1v1 gaming in EDH, Edric should be banned cause it's so powerful even against multiplayer game.
