Volcanic island is fireminds foresight from RTR!

5RU
Instant
Search your library for an instant card with converted mana cost 3, reveal it, and put it into your hand. Then repeat this process for instant cards with converted mana costs 1 and 2. Then shuffle your library.

Search for those three! Cast reset, copy it with reiterate for infinite mana, then infinite lightning bolt!

Now I might be mistaken, but here is how I see this playing out:
  1. Reset goes on the stack
  2. Reiterate, with the buyback, goes on the stack
  3. Reiterate, triggers copying reset
  4. Copy Reset goes on the stack
  5. Copy Reset resolves
  6. Reset resolves
Now recently I got into an arguement about priority, because as the stack resolves I remember neither player getting priority. Which unless I am mistaken would be a problem for this combo.

Sorry but you are mistaken under the current rules. Priority is passed between all players after each item on the stack resolves/before the next item resolves.
So after step 5 should be the line "go back to step 2, as many times you want"

You see, step six is actually "see step two until you have the amount of mana you desire" then step seven is "reset (original) resolves".

Whether it works or not, THAT is the question.

Apparently things have changed since fourth edition.
