 Sac Doomed Traveler with Ravenous Demon and flip card, next turn take 9 damage. repeat if needed, then cast Soul Conduit.

There are a lot better ways to cut down your life. the Demon does it in chunks of 9. Thats a little unwieldly, and it only happens once a turn. WHy not instead use one of the Souleaters from New Phyrexia or Necropotence?

It seems like this would be more effective just attacking with the Demon.
