According to Magic " You can use the ability to divide damage even if it is not blocked." Which means you can hit creatures that weren't assigned as blockers to Exile them. Have fun with 11 damage.

The only downside being that they could just block with a 1/1.

Yes, but according to the rules it doesn't have to be blocked creatures. Which is why I posted that comment from their rulings.

I, for one, am happy that I not only have both of these cards, but now know I can put them together to remove up to 11 creatures from the game with a single attack.

I'd say that is rather good for red removal.

It isn't as sweet as Lord of Shatterskull pass but it is still pretty sweet. Drop a Kursigami, I think that is the card I'm thinking about, and Sword of Kaldra becomes very scary. Still a fun combo to throw at who are unexpecting.

After retreading the card, this is better than Shatterskull Pass.

The Kusari-Gama bonus damage is not combat damage, so you would not be able to redirect all that damage to the opposing player. The K-G would basically give the Butcher Orgg no extra bonus (unless the opponent has more than 11 creatures).
