Obviously I will defend Elspeth if an attack goes to her, but the idea here is, take the combat damage, get that many 1/1 white soldiers. Use Elspeth to gain life equal to the number of creatures you control. Simple idea.

Throw a Soul Warden in there, just for fun. You get the life back faster, too.

Very good idea. Why didn't I think of that...hmmm...possible drawbacks are Bloodseeker and Suture Priest. In the event of an unplanned board wipe, Falkenrath Noble or Blood Connesure. Now I need to look for some gimmicks to stall my opponent. Any ideas for that guys?

Even with the suspend cost, it's kind of slow. I was thinking about Personal Sanctuary. Protects me from red nastiness, but unfortunatelly leaves my creatures with their asses in the breeze. hmmm....
