Your creatures become "Tap: Destroy target creature." Goes well with cards that spawn a lot of tokens.

Throw in a Nature's Revolt for land destruction.

Keep it black with either Cauldron Haze or Cauldron of Souls...or even War Barge. Because even though they are being targeted with Persist, they will die before they get the ability. I used to abuse Horobi back in the day.
