why waste 8 and a hal bucks for one creature when u can use a combo thats less than a dollar for all your creatures?

Before you go all crazy, there is a big difference.

Progenitus has protection from everything

This combo gives protection from all colors.

A powered up scarecrow could kill it.

yeah but wrath or damnation can kill proggy too, and you don\'t need to have a deck designed around getting it out like you do for proggy or DC.  Actually, the low color  cost of this combo makes it splashable in almost anything,  and if your building a deck around this combo you add cards like shadowmoors wisp cycle to give colerless creatures color.  to bad it won\'t deal with annilatior.

true but there are cards around every combo
and as for damnation what if i made it a white blue and had counter spells? ya
