i made an error with first combo this is proper one but it wont let me put Devils play in

First lay down Spiritual Asylum, then cast Seismic spike + Radiate to destroy all opponent\\\'s lands.. then with the extra red mana from Seismic cast Devil and finish opponent off..

Which Devil? I'm afraid you're going to have to be a tad more specific. The database is only updated to the end of the Scars block, so anything past that you'll need to post a link to.

My bad, I read that wrong. Devil's Play is replaceable though. You could just Fireball or Red Sun's, both of which are in the database.

Oh, also if you're using the mana from Seismic Spike, why do you need Spiritual Asylum? It adds an extra card and an extra colour. Also, blowing up your own lands would only add more damage to the Devil's Play. Plus the meat of this combo costs like, 9 mana, so if you DID get that much, you'd probably be tapped out anyways and since you're going to end the game, those lands are now useless to you. Just some food for thought.

okay let me explain.. Asylum is just incase there is a problem finishing off opponent.. and you're lands don't get destroyed. Also there is an Alterterntive if the opponent is non-basic.. dont cast Asylum but instead destroy all lands.. then use Planar Birth to bring all basic lands back to the field. my decks on http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=351212 maybe you'l get a better understanding :)

Sorry, I'm still a little hazy on the details. Asylum only protects your lands from your Radiated Seismic Spike, from which you will use to Devil's Play your opponent. The only way you would have problems with finishing off your opponent is if they countered Radiate or Seismic Spike, either way, your lands wouldn't be destroyed anyways. If you DID succeed in destroying all lands, you should literally have NO problem killing them with Devil's Play since they'd have no mana to counter it and you'd be hitting them with AT LEAST 18 damage from just YOUR lands being destroyed. However, that bit about people who use all non-basic lands is actually a pretty cool idea, my friend runs a 5 colour deck using the Alara 3-colour lands and Amulet of Vigor. I can only imagine the look on his face if I pulled that off against him hahaha.

There are plenty of errors in this combo though.

Also, it is spelled "your". "You're" means "you are".

Dude you are a very clever harry, try explaining that to the creators of the website who can't code it into Google chrome explorer.. when you type the {') it comes up as \\\ and doesn't let you

When you have an error in your post, it adds a "\" before any "'". If you have 3 errors, it puts "\\\".

Actually, I had to put extra front slashes, because it recognized the front slashes as part of the code. -_-

Errors aside I like this combo it will be fun for my multi-player group thanks for the deck idea
