on another note... i just got some Serra Avatar again... and i dont know that i will use them as intended... think i will use them as tokens for Ajani Goldmane :P

the hatred isnt meant to be used on the obliterator... it is meant to be used on the opponents creature that is blocking or attacking (if they dont have trample)
