Play Custody Battle on an opponent's creature, they'll have to keep saccing lands to keep the creature. Use the Temporal Adept to bounce their lands to make things even harder. Eventually, they'll give you the creature. Now, bounce the Custody Battle once you have the creature, and you get to keep the creature. Repeat until you steal all of their creatures.

Or you can cast memnarch and take everything without creature protection, shroud, or hexproof.

Well first off Memnarch is quite an expensive option. You don't play that until turn 7, and the ability costs 4UUU each iteration. With this, you play Custody Battle turn 2, turn 3 Temporal Adept, turn 4 you've stolen a creature, and you can continue doing so each turn from there for 1RUUU. So really, I prefer this option.

They would likely just kill their creature.

In which case you bounce custody to go on the next one they play

Temporal adept is not the best card for a multi-colored deck . . .

Vedalken Mastermind works better for this if you ask me.

True. I just use this in a casual Nin Control Swap EDH deck, and happened to grab the temporal adept cause that's what I use in that deck. But yeah, that does make things considerably cheaper.
