First combo, woot.
Play rooftop storm, which makes all zombie spells cost 0 to cast, and then play Conspiracy, naming zombies. Now all of the creatures in your hand are zombies, and cost 0 to play because of rooftop storm.

the other much cheaper option is to use Artificial Evolution, and have all your expensive creatures be the same type.

But with Artificial Evolution you need to have already cast the spell you want to reduce the cost of. Because it has already been cast you can't get the mana back out of it that you've already put into it.

. . . No . . . you cast rooftop storm, then put the artifical evolution on it, then cast all spells of the chosen type for free. What makes it worse is that you can only cast creatures of one type for free.
