It's probably better for you to swap out Umbilicus with Conjurer's Closet, because even though your blowing stuff up for 5 each turn, you probably won't have enough mana to play other stuff, which may not be worth it.

It's not that bad to run both in EDH.  Reason is you can cause them to lose life from the Umbilicus OR lose More board position.  When you bounce the Slime they have to choose whether to bounce something of theirs or take it from the Slime again.  If you had both Conjurer's Closet and Umbilicus out, at the beginning of your turn you bounce the Slime, cast it again to destroy a permanent, then blink it at the end of your turn to destroy another permanent.  On their turn they have to decide whether to take a life lose of 2 or lose even more board presence after you've already taken out two of their land/artifact/enchantments.  Might not be bad in a Bant Blink EDH deck with Venser, Cloudshift, Momentary Blink, Mystifying Maze, Deadeye Navigator, and various good EtB/LtB effects that synergize with blinking
