-Have 7 mana abailable (at least 5 of it blue)

- Have Echo Mage charged up to at least level 4 and ehcnated with FFTR

- Play Turnabout (2uu)

- Copy it twice with Echo Mage (uu)

- Untap Echo mage with FFTR (u)

-  You now have two turnabouts on the stack; the first one to resolve will untap your lands, and now you have 7 mana untapped to infinitely copy turnabout and untap echo mage forever.

You can do this with the echo mage at level two with more mana.  You just have to play turnabout, copy it, untap echo mage, then copy turnabout again (before the first turnabout resolves... that's 9 mana); then you'll have enough mana to go infinite.

I'm not entirely sure, but I would think that the copies have to be declared all at once.

The copies don't resolve all at once...  They're put on the stack, one resolves untapping my lands, and in response to the second copy, I copy the second copy twice.  That works right?

Yeah this goes infinite. You can copy any spell on the stack. However, copying a spell is not the same thing as "casting" a spell. What this means is no matter how many spells you copy, it won't increase your storm count. But with infinite mana, you shouldn't need infinite storm. Just use Braingeyser instead of Brain Freeze.

If you have 6 mana you don't need to get your mage to 4 counters, he'll work with just his single copy ability active.

Cast the spell
Copy the spell with the mage
Copy resolves - Untap your lands,
Untap your mage,
Copy the spell,
Repeat ad nauseam (not the card ;))

Ok, I see.

I just thought that you couldn't cast spells inbetween resolution of other spells on the stack.

Oh you're right Squillis.  For some reason I totally forgot about the ORIGINAL turnabout resolving.  Yeah 6 mana and echo mage at level 2.  That makes this way more bomb to do!!

@turbine - you can't cast DURING the resolution of something unless instructed by the ability to do so.  Every time a spell or ability resolves each player will receive priority to cast spells and activate abilities.  If you respond to your opponents spell with your own, when both of you pass priority to that spell it will resolve and the active player will get priority again.  As an example to where this could be relavent, you cast Path to Exile targeting your opponents Mother of Runes.  They respond by tapping the Mother of Runes to give it Pro-White.  When that resolves you respond to your Path to Exile by casting Turn to Frog on the Mother of Runes.  Now when the PtE resolves it'll see a blue frog with no abilities so will be able to send it away.
