have the altar and teysa out, and play nether traitor. sac the nether traitor for one of any color, getting a 1/1 spirit from teysa's ability. sac it for a black and return the traitor to play. repeat for infinite.

Starship...you your combo is more powerful than you think.

If you have a second Nether Traitor in play or already in the graveyard, you can sacrifice the one to bring the other and back, while still getting a spirit token.
This means that you can exile any creatures that you don't want in play, at any time, at instant speed, basically for free... while having the option to have infinite mana.

You guys know that any infinite combos are frowned upon by most gaming groups, right? All the people I know who play magic and all the guys I game with have an understanding that we don't use infinite combos. If you're at a tournament and you pull an infinite combo...that's a different story. But they take all the fun and sportsmanship out of a game.

It is understood that "most" gaming circles dislike infinite combos and lockdowns. The challenge is being able to stop it or break it. Not everyone plays for a mental challenge. Please note that I am not insulting anyone's IQ here. Some people play to win and some just for fun. Some people play this game to exercise their brains and some are playing it so that they don't have to think as hard. (perhaps for extreme example a busdriver wants more of a challenge and a geneologist wants a mental break)

My point is: this is MTGCombos.com. The reason this site exists is to discover and share combos that give players an edge and 99% of the time, that edge is to win. Infinite combos and lockdowns help out with this winning.

I for one haven't personally performed every combo I've posted (not even the majority). That being said, all the combos and cards that I see, I try to remember and modify my decks and their sideboards so that I can DEFEND MYSELF AGAINST THEM.

Hence, if you don't like what you see, stop reading it.

@manshoon

jk about calling you a pansy.

i enjoy a game of magic a lot more if winning is difficult. i enjoy fighting to dismantle my opponents combos or battling for field control.

and besides, magic without infinite combos would be way too bland.
