I was trying to think of some decent alterations for the new Koth deck, especially since there are some VERY obvious cards to cull. It's not an amazing deck, but there are much worse pre-constructed decks out there. With a few tweeks, this deck can be fun to play in casual games.

Furnace Whelp fits the deck theme since he has firebreathing and there's plenty of red mana to pump into him. Since he's flying and Dust Corona makes it so that flying creatures can't block him, he's practically unblockable. (Spiders and creatures with Reach could still block) Dust Corona has been one of those overlooked cards for me until I thought of this. The +2/+0 isn't a bad bonus either for one red mana.

Downhill Charge is another card I thought fit into this deck pretty well since there are generally plenty of mountains in play to get a good benefit. Goblin Charbelcher is kind of a fun card to put in there and why they didn't include Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle in the original deck is beyond me. There were some pretty crappy rares in there if you ask me. Anyways, I just thought I'd share some of the ideas I had for the deck.
