With Doubling Season out cast Tamiyo, Moon Sage.  She Enters with 8 Loyalty Counters so you can activate her Ultimate ability, do so.  Now, if you have Confessor on the 'field and 8 cards in your hand you can end your turn.  When you go to the Cleanup step you are instructed to discard down to 7 cards in addition to all "till EoT" abilities to end.  When you discard, Tamiyo and Confessor will Trigger.  Both are placed on the stack during the cleanup step, because players are getting priority to cast spells and activate abilities the game will create another cleanup step at the end of this one.  Resolve the abilities to put the card back in your hand and gain 1 life.  Now during the second Cleanup step the same thing happens again.  This will continue to happen until you elect not to put the card back in your hand from the trigger off of the emblem.  This will net any number of cleanup steps you want and 1 life gained for each one :).  The rules on the cleanup step are below:

514. Cleanup Step

514.1. First, if the active player's hand contains more cards than his or her maximum hand size (normally seven), he or she discards enough cards to reduce his or her hand size to that number. This turn-based action doesn't use the stack.

514.2. Second, the following actions happen simultaneously: all damage marked on permanents (including phased-out permanents) is removed and all "until end of turn" and "this turn" effects end. This turn-based action doesn't use the stack.

514.3. Normally, no player receives priority during the cleanup step, so no spells can be cast and no abilities can be activated. However, this rule is subject to the following exception:

514.3a At this point, the game checks to see if any state-based actions would be performed and/or any triggered abilities are waiting to be put onto the stack (including those that trigger "at the beginning of the next cleanup step"). If so, those state-based actions are performed, then those triggered abilities are put on the stack, then the active player gets priority. Players may cast spells and activate abilities. Once the stack is empty and all players pass in succession, another cleanup step begins.

moon sages ultimate also gives you no maximum hand size so u can't discard.  This is do to the fact that u can only discard when a spell, effect or, game state tells you to.  With the emblem from moon sage out the emblem changes the rules for you. You no longer can discard at your end step because with no maximum handsize the rule of seven cards in hand does not apply.  If you wanted this to work u would need to use a infinte mana generator and discard set up to achieve what you want such as duress and dark ritual or despise and dark ritual.

Or I guess you could put out a card like Recycle that sets your hand size after you do the ultimate.  In that case the ability that modifies your hand size would go to the one with the latest timestamp ;).

Using the time stamp of the emblem and another card that reduces your handsize would work and allow for the infinite loop that you wish to set up
