island is tamiyo, the moon sage. if you can get to her ultimate, then any mana producing spell such as dark ritual automatically becomes infinite mana if you want

okay, one thing can make this work a lot more quickly... Doubling Seasons.  Planeswalkers entering the battlefield have their loyalty counters put on them as part of an effect.  Because of this when Tamiyo Enters the battlefield she will have 8 (4*2) counters when she hits, enough to activate her final ability.  At that point you can cast Pyretic Ritual and Shocks to your heart's desire ;)

Throw in inexorable tide, clockspinning and lotus petal to speed things up.

umm... i dont see how this is infinite mana...

maybe add a creature that casts for free like Memnite or Ornithopter and add Phyrexian Altar or Ashnod's Altar



to make it infinite

or replace the Tamiyo, the Moon Sage with Enduring Renewal to make it far easier on the budget
