Witchbane Orb

I believe this combo makes it totally impossible for you to lose. Platinum Angel prevents you from losing, Darksteel Forge prevents Wrath of God-type mass removal, Witchbane Orb protects you from Cruel Edict-type force sac, and Leonin Abunas, equipped with Darksteel Plate, grants your Platinum Angel hexproof to prevent Tragic Slip-type toughness reduction. Silverskin Armor grants similar protection to the Abunas. If I have forgotten anything, PLEASE let me know.

Thinking about it, the Darksteel Plate only matters if you have Leonin Abunas without Silverskin Armor and Darksteel Forge. Otherwise, it's redundant.

How about Furnace Dragon or Decree of Annihilation?

Frantically searching...some convoluted scheme involving a Worldgorger Dragon with flash that dies...Ghostway with March of the Machines...hmm. Anybody have any thoughts?

Black Sun's Zenith at a high enough X would wipe out your creatures, unless you added Melira, Sylvok Outcast to your crew.

Thanks. It also protects against poison, which I hadn't thought about.

its tough but not perfect.  a simple counter spell will break you.  a non targeting removal like innocent blood will beat you.  the 2 mana hurkyels recall will screw you. and there is always the single card screw overs like humility and sudden spoiling.

Tajuru Preserver, so no one can make you sac anything. Add two privileged positions to give your artifacts hexproof.

Perfection?

First of all, in MTG there is always a way to wreck anything. -1/-1 counters, forced saccing, taking control (Insurrection and Reins of Power do not target) and then saccing (to Ashnod's or Phyrexian Altar), mass exile (final judgment/ false prophet). Or what will you do against Living Death? What if someone keeps bouncing your permanents (Tidespout Tyrant) before you complete the lock?

Second; format and logistics. Is this meant for EDH? If so, what colors? How will you get the pieces (tutors? draw? Traumatize ->Open the Vaults?), do you intend to pay their full cost (or will you 'cheat'; Master Transmuter)?

What I'm saying, a combo doesn't exist in a vacuum. It exists in a format, it exists in a type of deck.

And finally; not losing does not equal winning. Unless you have more time than your opponents and you intend to wait until they concede.

EDIT: if you still intend to go through with it all; I suggest you play this in WU or WUB EDH (Hanna or Sharuum) and use Dovescape as the final lock piece. That still leaves False Prophet though ;)
EDIT2: In all honesty, I think you have a greater chance of completely locking down your opponents with some combo than to get all of this unto the field.

Thanks, everybody, for your thoughts and suggestions.

@Manji: EDH was my intent. Originally, I was going WUB, but with the green suggestions, and adding Wheel of Sun and Moon, I need to rethink this. I also am aware of the difference between winning and not losing, but will include a couple of different finishers. And yes, I will cheat out the artifacts-does anybody actually pay full price for Darksteel Forge unless they have no other choice?

Overall, I intend to continue to keep searching for a way to never lose.

@theotherguy:

I see. Good luck (I mean it). Don't forget about Arcum Dagsson, Kuldotha Forgemaster and Tezzeret, the Seeker.

You intend to involve green because of Melira and Tajuru Preserver? A WUG (Rafiq? Jenara? Treva? Rubinia?) artifact deck? Madness!! :P WUB Sharuum FTW.

No need to fear saccing that much; it's mostly Butcher of Malakir and Gravepact (ie black). Iona choosing black is an option. Or removal.

@Manji: Good point. I like Sharuum for this deck, too. And I just noticed that with this, I have more than 100 posts.
