get their life down to four on the regular turn, then play final fortune, drop lightning reaver and attack....now theyr at one. declare that your turn is over both players lose

Wrong, does not work.

At the beginning of the end step (current wording for 'at end of turn') both Final Fortune and the Reaver will trigger, and you have to decide which order to stack them in.

Say for example you stack Fortune first, then Reaver. They resolve in FILO order (first in last out) so the Reaver resolves. The game then sees your opponent at 0 life and they lose, ending the game.

or you could just play by old rules, and then your opponent would  lose at the end of the phase, causing you to lose first

Or you could also think rationally and let Lightning Reaver resolve first...
