In my circle of friends, the Soldevi Sentries are know as \"the 8@$+@rd$\" (translated to half 133+ for those with virgin eyes). The only thing they were ever good for was letting the opponent draw until they found a way to kill it.
With the sphinx, that is a whole new story. Now the opponent has the gamble of whether his or her card will be better than your two.
I enjoy the possibility of this combo because it adds an extra layer to the game without making it frustrating. On the other hand, other combos already posted work wonderfully to make this frustrating for your opponent. It all depends on how you want to play.

I don't get it... it's a creature that regenerates... it says they "may" draw a card.  So it is a 1/1 with regeneration and something else if and only if the opponent wants it to be.

The whole point of this strategy isn't so much to win, but to add a layer to the game.
If I regenerate the sentry, the opponent MAY draw ONE card knowing I MAY draw TWO. The opponent may attempt to take advantedge of the situation but should be aware that I'll have twice the chance of advantedge.

It's psychological warfare.
