*NOTE* the database didn't have a card needed for this combo listed in it, the card needed is Ethersworn Cannonist.
With Ethersworn Cannonist in play, flip Erayo, Soratami Ascendant to Erayo's Essence. Now, your opponent can't play any spells unless they have an artifact spell because the first spell they play a turn is countered by Erayo's Essence and they can't play more than 1 non-artifact spell. For added fun.
Throw in Isochron Scepter with Counterspell imprinted on it so you can counter the second spell they cast that turn.

well, nm, the card Ethersworn Cannonist wasn't in the database, but Ethersworn Canonist was.
Guess those sworn to ether don't use a cannon but to like to canonize
