This is my fourth installment in using persist to create infinite combos. Ashnod's Altar requires that it's a Legacy combo, and so I can't predict its usefulness. But this combo provides a LOT: infinite token creatures, all your creatures with infinite power and toughness, and infinite Mana to boot.

Instead of Mirror Entity you can use any Kithkin and get infinite token creatures and infinite mana. However, Mirror Entity allows you to use that infinite mana to make all of your creatures have infinite power and toughness, and who doesn't like double infinity? :)

Here's how it works:

1) You need Ashnod's Altar, Antler Skulkin, and Mirror Entity in play.
2) You need access to {3}{W}{W} and have Kinsbaile Borderguard in hand.
3) Spend {1}{W}{W} to play Kinsbaile Borderguard.
4) Kinsbaile Borderguard comes into play with a +1/+1 counter thanks to Mirror Entity (could be any Kithkin).
4b) Now wait until the end of your opponents turn. You can spring your combo anytime on your opponents turn if he tries to kill your guys.
5) Spend {2} with Antler Skulkin to give Kinsbaile Borderguard Persist.
6) Sacrifice Kinsbaile Borderguard to Ashnod's Alter for {2}.
7) When Kinsbaile Borderguard goes to your graveyard from play, there are 2 triggered effects. As the player with priority, you choose the order they resolve, so
7a) Put X 1/1 white Kithkin Soldier creature tokens into play, where X is the number of +1/+1 counters Kinsbaile Borderguard had on him (technically, all counters, if for whatever reason he has other counters on him).
7b) From Persist, put Kinsbaile Borderguard into play with a -1/-1 token. Note that his previous counters have been lost; this is a fresh copy.
8) As Kinsbaile Borderguard comes into play, it gets (X+1) +1/+1 tokens: 1 from Mirror Entity and X from all the tokens we've put into play so far.
9) As a state based effect, a +1/+1 and a -1/-1 token cancel, leaving Kinsbaile Borderguard with a X +1/+1 tokens.
10) You still have {2} in your mana pool from step 6, so return to step 5. Note however that this process will accelerate very rapidly (exponential growth!): the more token creatures you have in play, the more you generate each time through. You'll get 1, 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128 etc tokens each time through, and don't forget these are accumulating. So after N sacrifices, you'll have 2^(N-1) tokens (that's 2 to the N-1 power, ie, exponential). So after 10 sacrifices you'll have 512 tokens, after 15 sacrifices about 16,000 tokens, and after 20 sacrifices about 500,000 tokens. 500,000 tokens ought to be enough for anyone :)

Anyway, when you have as many tokens as you want, go on and take your turn:

11) Sacrifice X tokens for 2*X color mana. If you didn't make enough tokens, go back and make some more. If you make more tokens, be sure to sacrifice the new ones, and keep the ones that can attack.
12) Use your 2*X mana with Mirror Entity to make all of your creatures 2*X/2*X creatures until end of turn.
13) Attack with 100,000 tokens for 1 Million damage each, for a total of 100 trillion damage. Or attack with 5 tokens for 5 damage each. You know, whatever floats your boat.

Due to summoning sickness, you have to do all the heavy lifting at the end of your opponents turn; you may prefer another finisher that lets you do everything on your turn. That could be almost anything: trample, haste, any {X} spell, or various effects that trigger when a creature enters play (as that happens infinitely too). There's a lot of versatility here, especially for a mono color, white/artifact combo.

Finally, note that if you make Antler Skulkin White, you have a good chance of surviving Wrath and other sweeper effects, so long as you have at least one non-token Kithkin with natural toughness 2 or greater (ie, that will survive a persist). When the Wrath drops, sac 3 creatures to the Altar and give Antler Skulkin, Kinsbaile Borderguard, and that 2 toughness Kithkin persist. Those 3 come back after the Wrath, and you can still pull off the combo.

Just wanted to add, if your opponent has no blockers or only one blocker, and your Antler Skulkin and Mirror Entity are over their summoning sickness, you don't have to wait to overcome summoning sickness; you can just attack with those 2 guys and give them infinite power/toughness. Or just generally, if you have any creature in play that you can reasonably expect to get through unblocked, you can make it infinite; this is the advantage of Mirror Entity vs some other Kithkin. Also, if you have more Kithkin in play while generating tokens, your token count will of course accelerate even more rapidly.
