ok so the combo act of treason with fling
used as is....act of treason a big creature attack deal damage and then on the second main phase sac the creature with fling to cause damage to a player
wondering because im in a game right now and the dude im playing with say that that is not possible  so please solution

Act of treason causes you to keep control of the creature until end of turn,
you can sac anything you control,
Put them together and it means you can sac your opponets creature since you control it as long as its before the end of turn, which 2nd main is.
So yes you can do it

You should be able to.

Take control of the creature 1st main phase.
Attack during combat phase.
Sacrifice it during second main phase.
