Have Swiftblade out. Then suspend the Meteor. Right before the meteor plays, cast Brace on the Swiftblade. Voila....a 14/15 crit ready to Double Strike!!! :-)

FYI...you can substitute your favorite multi-colored creature instead of the Swiftblade & the combo will work just fine. :-)

Another multi-colored creature will work, however, swiftblade is nice with his doublestrike. It works well with any cheap multi-colored guy with abilities, Mourning Thrull has Flying and Lifelink, Dmir Infiltrator is Unblockable, and Goblin Deathraiders has Trample. That being said, I'll have to say I like the idea of putting it on Vexing Shusher the most. This combo doesn't work at all if the Brace for Impact is countered. Drop Vexing Shusher to make the spell(s) uncounterable if the opponent tries to counter either spell.

I have this combo in 1 of my MTGO decks. I just added a couple of SOUL'S FIRE to the deck. That way you can cling the crit after it becomes LARGE! The only real drawback to this combo is the 5 mana required for BRACE. So then, I recommend some sort of early-game mana acceleration to help achieve this combo.
