Players can't draw cards. At the beginning of each player's draw step, that player exiles the top card of their library. If it's a land card, the player puts it onto the battlefield. Otherwise, the player casts it without paying its mana cost if able.

Have Omen Machine in play, and then sends Symbiotic Deployment by Donate to a one you like.

The problem with this is that symbiotic deployment is negated completely by Omen Machine, as it reads "players can't draw cards".

That is the point, he's locking an opponent by giving them the sybiotic deployment

How does this do anything? All it does is give your opponent a way to draw, while taking away yours.

OMEN MACHINE PREVENTS PLAYERS FROM DRAWING CARDS.

SKIPPING DRAW STEPS IS USELESS BECAUSE ALREADY NO ONE CAN DRAW CARDS.

GIVING ENCHANTMENTS TO DRAW CARDS IS USELESS BECAUSE NO ONE CAN DRAW CARDS.

I don't know how else to say this.

Whoever doesn't think this does anything needs to reread omen machine.

Its ability occurs during the draw step. But if you skip the draw step...

Then if that is the case, why not just use psychic possession and keep it monoblue?

because it only locks yourself in heads up.
P possesion says " enchant opponent", "skip your draw step" and "draw two cards every time enchanted opponent draws a card".
The draw step line refers to the controller of the enchantment, not the enchanted opponent.

So, when you play omen machine you would skip your draw phase, missing all the + omen machine effects and not draw cards bwcause of the - effects of omen machine. So, you just locked yourself. If you donate it to the opponent who it is enchanting, it fall off of them just like a white enchantment on a creature that gains pro white. It HAS to enchant an opponent.

im not sure why people dont get it but heres how it works:

with the omen machine out, players can't draw cards but during a player's draw step, it basically allows that player to cast the top card of their library for free and then the card gets exiled, unless it was a land. Now by donating the symbiotic deployment, your opponent skips the draw step and at the same time, doesn't get the opportunity to cast the top card of their library for free. This is a lock as your opponent cant get cards on the field unless in their hand and/or a search mechanism.

Note: just because the omen machine doesn't allow cards to be drawn does not mean that the draw step doesn't occur. it occurs, all right, just that no cards are drawn.
