I'm sure that there's another better necromancer though.

i have both doomed necromancer and hells caretaker... hells caretaker is one of my fav cards, but... the doomed necromancer is better for this situation than the caretaker

Why is that? It costs more mana and has to be activated later.

Ultimatly its a matter of opinion, neither has a distict advantage over the other. Yes doomed costs 1 mana to do it but the ability to do it at anytime can make up for it, allowing for a greater abuse of etb abilities.
What one works better in each persons deck will be determined by what is being reanimated

You can use Hell's Caretaker multiple time though.

To each their own though.

there are advantages of hell's caretaker but i hate it due to the only during your upkeep condition... i want something that can reanimate anytime... for example, i can put a splinter twin on a doomed necromancer, and yeah you have a reanimator for the same cost:

Doomed necro without Splinter twin activation is {B} + Tap
Doomed necro with Splinter is still {B} + Tap but i still have my original doomed necro...

You can tap your caretaker for splinter twin during your upkeep!

And you get to keep the original Caretaker.
