Read Channel carefully. Nothing can be used to prevent the loss of life. I would suggest using Stream of Life instead.

This does not work. Read Meteor Shower very carefully. It costs XXR to deal X+1 Damage (split between targets).

Assuming you cast Channel with the GG you get from the Battlegrounds, and spend 10 life to get 10 mana, then the maximum you can use on X is 5 - i.e. for 10R you will deal 6 damage.

You should go for Channel + Banefire... It's the coolest X damage around (it will burn your opponent).
