When pulling off the Myr Landshaper/Splinter combo there will still be lands out for your opponent or opponents. Landshape another land then drop Echoing Ruin on it with a Dingus Egg out to raise the sodium content in the room.

It had something to do with a Jazz song. I read about it somewhere after I saw a Simpsons episode with Milhouse or Ralphie singing it.

This wont work sadly, You would need Mycosynth, the Myr only changes 1, and its all ARTIFACTS with the same name, good try though :)

chiefsizzlechest is correct. the landshaper will turn ONE land into an artifact and the echoing ruin will target that one land/temp artifact however all the other lands, though has same name, are not artifacts as already explained.

Damn, you are correct. It does specifically say "artifact" and not "card" as it does on Splinter. Guess if I have a few Landshapers out I can slowly clean up the rest of the land. I was trying real hard to not have to rely on Mycosynth...again...for another destroy artifact combo.

Thanks for pointing that out, though. Would've sucked to try to pull it off in a real game only to have it shot down.

Hmm. Here's a question: With the Massacre Wurm/Living Plane combo, would Dingus Egg also work with that for extra damage?

Yes it would.

A dingaling is a toy that children played with in the 50s that comprised of string and silver balls.

Your massacre wurm will probably already be doing a lot of damage though! And if i had no lands, and you had 1/1 lands and a wurm on board, i would probably concede.....!

And if youre turning multiple things into artifacts, you probably want shattering spree over echoing ruin!

I did find Echoing Decay/Natural Affinity on here. Pretty much achieves what I wanted to do with this combo. Throw that in a deck with the Landshaper and Splinter. I'm not very eco-friendly for some reason.

So lets say that I'm playing someone with forest land and I have snow forest land. If I pull the echoing decay/natural affinity combo on them would my lands be unaffected?

I'd think you'd be affected, since they have the same name, just not the same type.

Sorry Turbine but you will not be affected. While they are both considered basic forest, Decay only cares about names and they have differant names, one is "forest". The other is named "snow covered forest"

Schweeeeeeet! Making a Land Destruction deck and wondered how to keep my lands from dying. Pretty sure that no one else I play has snow lands. Thanks, guys!
