Pay one mana, to convert a +1/+1 counter on your
Thopter Squadron
into a 1/1 thopter. This will generate 1 green mana from
Tangleroot
. Use this mana to bring out another 1/1 thopter, and the mana generated by that one to bring out the third. This will send your
Thopter Squadron
to the graveyard. Sac a Thopter to
Hell's Caretaker
to bring the
Thopter Squadron
back into play. As long as you have
Intruder Alarm
in play this will allow you to untap
Hell's Caretaker
and repeat the whole process using only green mana you've already generated, until you've enough green mana to bring out a big beastie (such as
altar golem
) or you have enough 1/1 thopters to overwhelm your opponent. (This may also be done with a
Pentavus
instead of a
Thopter Squadron
)

like the idea unfortunatly it doesn't work as you currenty have it. Tangleroot only gives you mana if you cast a creature not if you put on into play. you can replace the tangleroot with a creature that taps for mana such as lanowar elves, it taps for the mana when the thopter comes into play intruder alarm untaps it, continue with the rest of combo
