Yea... I saw someone play verdant crossroads (I think it was called) and ambush commander.

It was onslaught block multiplayer. Two elf decks, two that I don't remember ( nor do they matter) and a goblin deck.

Goblin deck had just put out a Goblin sharpshooter, which basically killed everything nongoblin on the board at that point.

Yeah, I always get super worried about having lands become creatures. Unless you know the deck you're playing against well, it will most likely come back to hurt you with all the removal that exists out there. My theory is that if you're going to turn your lands into creatures, you better alpha strike immediately.

Or turn ALL lands, including your opponents, into creatures, so they cant wrath and destroy you without hurting themselves!

I wouldn't. I run game sets of Elvish Archdruid and Caged Sun.

Okay, okay, we get it. The synergy is far from foolproof...What more do we add to beat it though? Knarf kinda went overboard with ways to make this pointless...I mean for real...dude made a list...that's just...I mean what the buck man...seriously....Sweet Celestia...I mean yes Turbine shrivel is a valid option, but let's face it Knarf beat everyone to the punch on the synergies' weak points...he has a list...he's...list-y...

I vote Knarf for best  list-making pony.

Can I self-nominate? I've spent plenty of time on Gatherer looking up counters!

sorry for annoying you. I just thought it would be nice to highlight the weakest points of the "combo" directly with card information. Not all of you is familiar with the card text.
The elesh norn is high expensive, my suggestions are cheap ones (low cmc), ...!-)

I appreciate the suggestions for best list making pony!-)))
