It requires quite a bit of mana to be used efficiently, but its pretty good!

Everytime you say Cradle of Vitality you feel the need to specify not Leyline of Vitality. Do you really think that people would get confused if you didn't clarify yourself?

Yeah it's a pretty well known card. If you name something correctly, then people are going to be able to figure out what you're talking about.

With all the infinite mana combos on here I don't see why this wouldn't be pretty slamming combo. Draw out your library and blow up your opponent. Done.
