Actually this combo does work because the massacre wurm has an enter the field ability which goes on the stack before humility can affect it at all so this combo actually does work.

The second half of massacre wurm does not though take place because it needs to be in play before it can happen.

No it does not work. When there is a continouis effect created by a static ability permanents that can be affected by that ability enter the battlefield under its influence. Ie the wurm enters the field as a 1/1 with no abilities

You would need Godhead of awe for this, that would work
