Play Marsh Viper with 4 lands out, enchant with freed and psionic turn after, play Divergent growth with 6 lands out and win.

Your opponent looses and is very cheap combo =)

702.67 - Poisonous
  • 702.67a - Poisonous is a
    triggered ability. "Poisonous N" means "Whenever this creature deals
    combat damage to a player, that player gets N poison counters." (For

Current oracle wording of Marsh Viper:

'Whenever Marsh Viper deals damage to an opponent, that player gets two poison counters.'

So yes, pinging works.

Poisonous is just a made up keyword they stuck on Virulent Sliver as part of the cycle of Futureshifted 'Slivers with silly keywords' cycle.

poisonous ability does not work with ping tho... cause its combat dmg not just whenever he dmgs a player as i learned from this site lol.
