The best part is that even if they have something to kill your creature, or prevent the damage, all you need to do is put more damage on the stack and the prevent damage is meaningless.

There's a shadowmoor card called Power of Fire... 1 Colorless 1 red. Same effect. as the bow

There's also Arcane Teachings (2R), Fire Whip (1R), Hermetic Study (1U), Hypervolt Grasp (2R), and Psionic Gift (1U). Quicksilver Dagger (1UR) only targets players, but you draw a card for each damage. Kyren Negotiations (2RR) will also work. Did I miss any?

Extended goes back to what? Mirrodin block? So this combo is available to any deck. Any!

Yeah. Hmm are there any other cards that have the same effect as heartstone?

No. The Heartstone is unique.

Mana Reflection also works instead of Heartstone.

Mana Reflection DOES work with pili-pala's infinite mana combo (replace viridian longbow with paradise mantle), but not for this one, because he untaps to produce mana, rather than tapping.

Oh yeah, I forgot that it was only tap and not untap.
