hehe, make it worse, if you don't have Ranger in hand or play, but have both the altar and finks in play, enchant finks with Pattern of Rebirth (When enchanted creature is put into a graveyard, that creature's controller may search his or her library for a creature card and put that card into play. If that player does, he or she then shuffles his or her library.)

Sac Finks to the Altar and stack the two triggered abilities of persist and enchanted creature going to the graveyard so the one triggered from the enchantment resolves first. Use that to search you library for Juniper Order Ranger and put it into play. Then, after he has come into play, the persist ability resolves and brings the Finks back with a fresh Juniper Order Ranger.
