At a guess, you play the Leyline first, then Life and Limb, then when you play the Mycoloth it devours your forests? Giving you bigger saprolings when it's upkeep trigger resolves?

The saprolings from it's ability would also be forests so each turn you get more mana (after summoning sickness goes away)

Very nice.. Even though it's expensive, Doubling Season would compliment this combo to an unbelievable extent.

On a side note, you could take the leyline out, and make this a strictly green deck... I hate fungus.
