after mornsong has been out for 3 opponets turns you can play archive trap for free and kill an opponent  this can be a turn 5 kill with a dark ritual in hand [Edited by Jwrights on 8/Jan/12 at 1:51PM]

The thing that worries me about Maralen combos is that your opponents gets to use her first, so if they have anything to get rid of her, they'll just tutor it out and she'll be gone. THey just seem so fragile.

most othe the people i play with dont have something that can kill a black creature easilly within the first 4 turns I mean unless its a black deck and they go for the throat shes not all that easy to kill early on...

Personally I think Bloodchief and Archive Trap don't need any help other than to get counters on Bloodchief. Considering the decks that either of those cards can go in I think they'll find some company to help each other out.
