No explanation necessary.  I've pulled this one off a lot.  It is great when someone else has a black/artifact deck and doesn't feel threatened and then you one-hit them anyway.  Could replace Glimpse with Archive Trap if you want a way of doing it all with instants.

I'd have to Traumatize with this one. Kudos, good sir!

There's actually an enchantment from M12 that gives enchanted creature flying for 1blue. Other than that great combo.

Unblockable is much better than flying!

obviously there are many ways to make the creature essentially unblockable without having to pay 1 mana, but this has the element of surprise.  If your opponent already knows they can't block because of an enchantment (say in a multiplayer game) then they would focus on destroying that creature or enchantment or saving a counter spell.

There are creatures that tap to give a creature shadow, creatures that make another creature unblockable when they come into play, Power Matrix which taps to give a creature +1/+1, trample, flying, first strike.  You could have some combo to make the creature unable to be blocked by less than 2 creatures but at the same time unable to be blocked by more than one (which is a pain to produce, but there is an old-school combo to do this for all your creatures).  You could give the creature protection from creatures and the list goes on.

I like it! Traumatize is a must though.

You do realize that traumatize is worse because it costs more mana, and theres no guarantee that they have 40 cards left! Its great the way it is!

I used to have pi in my avatar, but then it became too mainstream. ^_^

Glimpse is better with the quickness, or tome scour, or mind twist.

@Turbine:
that pi isn't pi like 3.141592653589...

pi_1(S^1) means the "fundamental group of the circle" which is sort of like a system of numbers with an addition but where the numbers are loops winding around the circle and the addition of two loops is the loop formed by traveling along one loop and then the other.  Z is the system of integers (positive and negative whole numbers and 0).  My avatar says that it is possible to rename all possible loops starting and ending at a certain chosen point on the circle so that each loop is an integer and concatenating them corresponds with adding those integers.  (this is slightly simplified from the truth because it is actually a collection of loops that are each integer but... anyway I've said enough)

it is part of a major branch of modern mathematics called Algebraic Topology.

That's way back when for me.

I have a very distorted view of time.
