play grinning ignus while banneret is in play it cost now less 1 to play..in that turn pay the ability of to put it back to hand then recast then reuse the recast..just repeat in the last bounce leave ignus in your hand for you to have 2 generic mana now play a storm spell preferably low cast ones like grapeshot to kill your oponent in turn 3...you can also play storm entity in place of grapeshot.....now yah win just be sure to put up a pact of negation for you be sure that no spell would stand in your way.since your not thinking what happened in next turn..heres a sample decklist for you guys..enjoy

19-lands(forest,mountains and other nonbasics)
3-sakura-tribe elder

Banneret and Ignus do not give you infinite mana. They slowly turn your red mana into colorless.

How does this combo work, if it would work as you say Ignus would have to give you 2 red and 1 colorless..
But it only gives you 1 red and 2 colorless..

Grinning ignus costs 1 red and 2 Colorless
When you pay 1 red, it gets returned to your hand you get 1 red and 2 colorless..

While the Banneret only makes you be able to pay 1 less COLORLESS mana..
This isn't reallly a combo as much, cus' no matter what you must keep on paying 1 RED mana to keep returning Ignus to your hand..
But it does give you 1 Colorless mana in your mana pool for every time you pay 1 red Mana.. <.<"

If I'm mistaking please tell me so and I will say I was wrong,
Please do explain if i read the cards wrong~

No, you're right. As I stated earlier, this combo does give you mana, but it also slowly turns your red mana into colorless mana. If you can manage to drop 2 Bannerets, you can get the mana even faster, but you still face the problem of losing your red to colorless. There's a third elemental creature that can really make this combo powerful; Soulbright Flamekin. Once you've acquired 6 colorlses mana, he gives you 8 red in it's place. I used to have a deck based on this where I could Fireball you for 20 on the 4th turn.

Skyshroud Elves do indeed work, although they don't give trample, they're only 1/1's and you only get 1 extra mana out of them. The 1 mana is easier to get than the 2 you get from the Shaman, and their mana-swapping ability is more reliable, so if you're playing a multicolored deck the Elves are definitely a better choice, but if you're playing mono-red the Shaman is great.

But it will give you infinite red mana or white mana, if you need it..

Now that I think about it, you actually require 2 Bannerets to get any mana from the Ignus. To play and return him normally costs you 4, which is a loss of 1 mana. With 1 Banneret, you would break even. With 2, you gain mana, but have to find a way to channel your colorless into red.

But, with the 2 Bannerets, the Ignus, and the Elves, you would have infinite red/white mana.

You need two Bannerets for infinite mana.

What about this? The Elves and the Elementals are entirely separate armies.

Sounds like a flanking tactic, so likely either Sidar Jabari or Telim'Tor.

How would someone who didn't know magic be able to pass a Wall of Swords?
