I've been working on additional ways to use my Enduring Renewal playset in a deck again and here's a nasty addition that actually isn't too expensive to get out.  Just like the Fallen Angel combo that I recently posted, you sac and recast the Ornithopter over and over, but you sac it to the Grinding Station which mills 3 cards and then conveniently untaps each time you recast the Ornithopter.  Rinse and repeat....  Obivously, this also works with any zero casting cost Artifact.  Being that there are quite a few artifact fetching cards out there, this combo shouldn't actually be too hard to get into play.  Hope you like it.

Thanks for the addition, but it's already been posted before.

Woah, look! Its another combo that involves a zero cost creature, enduring renewal, and a sacrifice outlet!

My bad, I should have checked to see if it was already posted. I just happened across the Grinding Station while giong through some cards and I got too excited. :-)  I don't plan on being one of "those" posters.

@PinkiePie - Yeah, I checked and it looks like you are definately the king of Enduring Renewal combos.  :-)  It really is a cool card and although there are a million combos for it on the forum, the group of 20 or so people I play with regularly have never seen it.  By the time I'm done abusing it, I hope they hate it as much as they hate my stuffy doll decks.

I disagree. I am the king of Enduring Renewal Combos. I came up with Wild Cantor, Enduring Renewal, and storm!

The only combo spree I remember going on was when I was trying to
exploit the rampage stacks rule.  Which for all my efforts I couldn't
get a two instances of rampage on the same creature.  Why do they even
say that it stacks!!!!!  IT DIDN'T USE TO SAY THAT!!!! IT USED TO BE THE
HIGHEST INSTANCE STAYED AS WAS DEFAULT!!!

I thought it was a cool story!

But banding is much better than rampage!

That would be why I said my aforementioned comment.

I have to agree that Banding is better than Rampage, but sending a classic Craw Giant with a freshly cast Lure attacking an opponent that had amassed an army of about (50) 0/1 thalids was one of the funnest things I ever did in a game back in the day.

how the hell did he have 0/1 thallids?  And duh banding is better than rampage, but banding doesn't stack with itself.

I stand corrected, they were 1/1 Thalids.  (He was playing a lot of Fallen Empire cards)  It was still fun sending that Craw Giant over however.

Funny when they released that card it was considered a good card, but in current magic it sucks.

Yeah, the 'ol Craw Giant was a really cool card at one time, but is just way too expensive to cast for what you can get for your mana these days.  It's kind of sad to see some of the old cards get gimped like that, but overall I think that WotC has done a good job with the game.

While craw giant is pretty cool, nothing beats craw wurm! Nothing beats that classic craw-blade deck!

LOL, my friends would trade all kinds of things for Craw Wurms.  "Illusionary Mask for a Craw Wurm?  Ok!  That card has too many words on it anyways."  "Dual Lands?  Alright!  I only play green anyways, I don't need those for my Craw Wurm deck."  Of course, this was before they made the 4 of any one card in a deck rule.  After that, my friends had more Craw Wurms than they knew what to do with.

I have to say that I was always partial to the Water and Air Elementals myself.  Plus, you could play with Sea Serpents and Dandans that required Phantasmal Terrain to do anything with!  Island Home sucked, but I played them anyways because nobody else did.

lol, 0/1 was Thrulls, eg. Breeding Pit. As if I didn't like Pestilence enough at the time.

Ah, the Breeding Pit!  Aka, "Lord of the Pit's Snack Machine".
