Alright, coming back to MTG after a year or so, so... this may not work. Also, the Living Plane and March of the Machines are just bonuses, you don't actually need them... although they do make this fun.

Pretty simple. Attach the Gift and the Staff to Blood Cultist. She can tap for a damage, which kills due to deathtouch, which untaps due to the Staff. Wash, rinse, repeat. With Living Plane and March of the Machines, wipe their lands and artifacts (respectively) as well. Yeah... its old, I know.

The cards, and thus, I'd assume, the combo. I'm not clever enough to be the first one to think this up (though I don't know of anyone specifically who did, but I know they are out there...)

The cards chosen are new but yeah the concepts old, though there is nothing wrong with giving an alternative to a classic

Actually, I could slim this down a bit by taking away the Staff and Cultist and throwing in a Deathbringer Thoctar, but you don't end up with a fatty.... :-(

If you were going to use this I might swap Living Plane out for Kamahl, FIst of Krosa. That way you can take out your opponents lands without having to worry about losing your lands to the overabundant creature removal.

You could have removal in your deck to get rid of Living Plane if they try to destroy your lands.

.... to have a fatty? I mean, "Why would you want to play an infinite mana combo in response to your opponent conceding?" ".... to have an infinite mana combo?"

Also, you need to give the Deathbringer a +1/+1 counter somehow. And yes, I see your point. Although having a big creature is nice with an open field.
