Well, Iona Shield of Emeria pretty much sums it up if they are running mono.
I was in a tournament this past sunday and the same trick was pulled on me. Pro. Black with Pariah, good thing I had 2 Pulse Trackers.

id personnally use it on thoughtweft trio, cuz of vigilance and it can atttack but that's just me =P
