Play with your hand revealed. If you would draw a card, reveal the top card of your library instead. If it's a creature card, put it into your graveyard. Otherwise, draw a card. Whenever a creature is put into your graveyard from the battlefield, return it to your hand.

Creature — Merfolk Wizard

Champion a Merfolk (When this enters, sacrifice it unless you exile another Merfolk you control. When this leaves the battlefield, that card returns to the battlefield.) Whenever this creature deals combat damage to a player, you may sacrifice a Merfolk. If you do, take an extra turn after this one.

Hooray for another infinite turn trick!

1)Step one Merfolk of the pearl trident or whatever merfolk in play that is going to be championed or a changling, don't really care.
2)Enduring Renewal and lightning greaves are out too.
3)Play Wanderwine Prophets and somehow have it deal combat damage to the player (perhaps put a Whispersilk cloak{does not play well with greaves} on them or something that makes it easier to hit the player) sacrifice and take that extra turn.
4)Enduring Renewal returns WP to your hand and you play it next turn, make it capable of hitting the opponent, lightning greaves and rinse and repeat.

I am now a firm believer that Enduring Renewal is one of those broken cards.

Good timing on this one Boyachi... I just picked up some white Merfolk and am planning on building the blue/white merfolk deck. Gonna see if I can fit this one in...

It's broken because of it's versatility.

You can use it in something like this for infinite turns, or use it with Cathodian, a 0 cost creature, or Priest of Gix and any sacrifice engine.

Stonybrook schoolmaster makes a merfolk token every turn (for sacrifice) with something like drowner of secrets or  paradise mantle. Deepchannel mentor, merfolk sovereign, or whispersilk cloak can make him unblockable.  Merfolk and elves are the most broken creature types, I swear.

I'll take Elves over Slivers... but shenanigans abound on both sides.
