ok i'm really asking a question rather than posting the combo itself. Let's say I use the panoptic mirror on eternal dominion. at the beginning of my next upkeep i use panoptic's ability to copy eternal dominion and cast it. blah blah blah steal steal steal. end turn, opponent's turn, then my turn again. At the beginning of my upkeep, the eternal dominion i cast last turn still has an epic effect. so at the beginning of my upkeep the eternal dominion that I copied last turn comes into effect and then I can use the panoptic mirror again to activate another eternal dominion. The continues each turn after and i keep continually being able to cast more and more eternal dominions each one of my upkeeps. coupled with paradox haze......does this work?

It doesnt work because youre casting the spell, its just free! However, if you copy the original spell with riku or reverberate, you get 2 copies every upkeep because both epics triggered! And if your using riku you can use his ability because it isnt a spell, and continue to copy them!

i'm pretty sure the epic says you can't play spell for the rest of the game. i dont think this works you cast a copy of the spell with the mirror.

Damn you Pinky are you ever not online

The kick in the teeth of Mirror, as well as Spellweaver helix, is the "If you do, you may cast the copy without paying its mana cost."

If it wasn't for that, you could have gotten away with it. *sigh* Meddlesome kids Wizards!

I'm not sure. What happens when two ability contradict each other? I thought it had something to do with which card came into play first.

^^This is if Panoptic Mirror didn't say "may".

Yea, im not online sometimes..! Im online fairly often thoguh! (>no life
If you have 2 dominions, you can have a leyline of anticipation out, then play the one on panoptic, then cast the other one in response and get two triggers that way! Twincast is easier though!

having said that, I am actually unclear as to whether you pay for eternal dominion for it's epic ability. Just a ...little side question there.

You're right. It doesn't say, without paying it's mana cost.

Think about it! When you Reverberate a spell, do you pay the mana cost?!

I never questioned whether you payed the mana cost. I was wondering why the wording is different.

Sorry, it sounded like you were questioning it! And whenever youre copying a spell, you dont pay the mana cost!
