have soil out. and/or any of the altars. play myr, sac to one of the altars, pay 1 to the soil to get back the myr and repeat unnecessarily.

i really like this combo. unfortunately as far as i can tell, altar of dementia won't work infinitely, it will just mill one card from their library each turn, assuming you play the moonvessel each turn.

Looks infinite sac/cast/retrieve combo to me as long as you have threshold:

A) Sac the Myr to Ashnods for 1+2 mana--> 3 mana in pool

B) Pay 1 to retrieve Myr, pay 1 to cast Myr, sac to Dementia to mill 1 and add 1 to mana pool--> 2 mana in pool

C) Pay 1 to retrieve Myr, Pay 1 to cast Myr--> 0 in mana pool

D) Repeat A,B,C until all opponents have zero cards in library.

E) Say "Good Game"

sorry but as far as i can tell, the altar of dementia bit doesn't work. If you sac the moonvessel using ashnod's altar, you only get it's ability not altar of dementia's in addition.

Yes, you are correct. But you are only looking at step B.

Please follow from the beginning step A and proceed thru the steps.
