You know that creature de-phase during the start of turn phase, not the untap phase right?

@ Lin Sivvi:

actually, thats incorrect and heres why:

501.1. The beginning phase consists of three steps, in this order: untap, upkeep, and draw.

502. Untap Step
502.1. First, all phased-in permanents with phasing that the active player controls phase out, and all phased-out permanents that the active player controlled when they phased out phase in. This all happens simultaneously. This turn-based action doesn’t use the stack.

to summarize, phasing happens during the untap step according to 502.1 and since SANDS OF TIME skips this step, phasing in never happens.

That's right, it's even in the rules of phasing:

702.23a Phasing is a static ability that modifies the rules of the untap step. During each player’s untap step, before the active player untaps his or her permanents, all phased-in permanents with phasing that player controls “phase out.” Simultaneously, all phased-out permanents that had phased out under that player’s control “phase in.”.

Since it's part of the untap step, it works. Good combo
