Both of these cards and stack their triggers in your favor.  On your turn, you let teferi trigger first, discard your hand and search for your best card.  On your opponents turn, let Maralen trigger first, they search for their best card, then they discard their hand.

Your opponents lose 3 life a turn and can never draw or play a spell again.

This works especially well if you throw [The Rack] in the mix, it will just expedite your opponents death.

Point of note, you do not discard using the Puzzle Box. The cards are returned to the library.

Besides which, your opponent will just search for an instant to deal with the Box or Maralen (since they can still play spells and abilities between the two triggered abilities resolving).

True, they dont discard, my bad.

If they dont have anything to deal with the cards, and some decks dont, they are screwed.

You can also use [Stranglehold] so your opponents cant search their libraries, but i wanted to keep it to 1 color.

With Strangehold, there isn't much need for the other card.

I like the combo that has the card that says opponent's can't search for cards in their library or use it with that Trap card so you deck 'em fast.

Mindlock Orb completes this combo.

You get no searching, no
drawing, no hands and 3 damage every upkeep. I've pulled this combo off
at turn 5 and it's very hard to get rid of after the Box goes down.

1. Land > Sol Ring
2. Land > Mindlock Orb
3. Maralen
4. Land or no land > Exsanguinate
5. Puzzle Box

The orb prevents you from searching your library as well, so you'd have to have the box and exsanguinate in your hand when you play Maralen. And Orb plus Maralen usually means a win if its quick since they'll be hit by Maralen first.
