you don;t need oni possession unless defending player has black/artifact creatures, and breeding pit is just there incase you want to keep oni possession...but mind sludge automatically makes nocturnus 12/12, if not more!
with fear so thats a potential 2 turns with one creature (if u have the right cards)

The Sludge won't automatically make the Nocturnus huge - it does rely on your opponent having cards in hand to discard!
By the time you play Mind Sludge most players would only have 2 or 3 cards left in hand, so it would probably only get +6/+6 - and you wouldn't be able to do it again next turn as your opponent would be out of cards!

oh....well i guess it does depend but yeah, would only be good for one turn...thanks for catching me on that one
