just play them both, and tap.

If you have \"everlasting torment\" out too, the damage can\'t be prevented.

first combo i ever posted was death pits of rath and simoon,  it's a blanket wipe or all opponent creatures.  it's cheaper but more colour heavy

You can use simoon once, you can use this one each turn. If your opponent don't play red or artifact creatures, it's very good.
