Use the Ashnod's Transmogrant to turn the Puresteel Paladin into an artifact creature. Now with it, the Master Transmuter and the Shield Sphere in play, you can trade the Sphere for something in your hand for , equip it for free, then re-cast the Sphere to repeat the process.

Now even your most expensive Equipment cards (and artifacts) only cost one mana to put out and equip!

I have always liked your combos, but I have to ask, what is the transmogrant for? You already have metalcraft: the transmuter and the sphere are two, and whatever equipment you have makes the third.

It's... complicated. The Transmogrant makes the Paladin an artifact creature. That way, when you trade the Sphere for an Equipment card in your hand, you still satisfy the "three artifact" criterion of the Paladin's metalcraft ability; and even still, if your Transmuter dies, you can re-cast the Sphere to meet the requirement of three artifacts again.
